Is my phone classed as 'working' if it works but has a broken screen?

Unfortunately not. Broken screens are expensive to replace. Therefore, the phone will be classed as 'working-with-faults' OR 'not-working' depending if there is more extensive damage or not.

Is my phone 'working' if the battery is flat?

Yes, provided you know that the phone otherwise works then it's fine to sell as 'working'. We use our own batteries to test phones.

How can I tell if my phone is working or faulty?

Please see our 'Device Grading Explained' article HERE for more information on selecting the condition of your device.

How do I delete my personal data from my handset/device?

We will delete and restore the device as soon as it arrives to us.

It is your responsibility to make a full backup of your data before sending your device to us.

Please see 'What steps do I need to take to make sure my data is safe?' HERE for some help and advice with backing up your data.

What must I include with my handset?

We like to keep things simple. So we just need the handset with its battery.

Do I need to include the charger or accessories?

No, we just need the handset with its battery.

What if my phone is not on your list?

No, we just buy the devices listed at buymyi

Does my handset colour affect the price?

In order to keep things nice and simple we pay you the same price regardless of handset colour.

Do I get a higher price for a new handset?

To keep things simple, we only class handsets as 'working' or 'working with faults' or 'not working'. Therefore, new handsets would be classed and valued as 'working'.

What if my phone is blocked?

If your phone is blocked, it is likely it has been reported lost or stolen. We do not purchase blocked handsets. If you are the rightful owner of a blocked handset, we suggest you contact your service provider to have the phone unblocked.

What if my phone is Network locked?

We accept Network locked handsets and pay the full value.
